Modern Stump Black Walnut Cutting Boards

Design*Sponge

Now that my little rental kitchen makeover is pretty much complete (I always drag my feet on one last thing- this time its re-painting the ceiling) Im ready to start stocking up on serving pieces. While Ive been incredibly loyal to my Ariele Alasko cutting board (and always will be), Im ready to add a new piece or two to my board collection. Mainly because a pretty board can make even the simplest breakfast look beautiful and artfully arranged. These gorgeous cutting boards from Aaron Fuller of Modern Stump in Portland are made of Western Black Walnut that is sustainably harvested in the Pacific Northwest. In addition to the deep rich color, I love the unique shape of each board. Every single one is completed by hand so no two are alike, although the size options are approximately the same overall size- so youll have plenty of room to cut, chop and prep to your hearts desire. Tilde in Portland is selling the small and medium sized versions of Aarons cutting boards right here for $44 and $55. Thanks, Kate! xo, grace
